Eastport Yacht Club will again host the Chesapeake Bay Women's Challenge to be held Saturday, July 26, 2008, to benefit CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates. Sign up to participate in a great day of sailing -- and partying -- for a great cause. There will be lots of special prizes, a really special auction, great raffle items and great fun.
Let's help the kids!
CASA is a private, non-profit program that recruits, screens, trains, and supervises community volunteers as they become advocates for victims of child abuse and neglect. CASA's function is to speak up for abused and neglected children in court proceedings and with the child welfare agency, so that these children will have the opportunity to live in safe, permanent, nurturing homes. |
